I advise industrial organisations where railway systems carry the production, the product or the investment case — steel plants, mining operations, ports, thermal power facilities, cement and aluminium plants and bulk material handling businesses.
My work is concerned with the problems that reach the board: constrained throughput, rising maintenance costs, asset degradation, avoidable downtime and safety risk.
My approach is practical, direct and implementation-focused — not theoretical. I work on solutions that can be executed, measured and sustained in live operations.
I bring nearly three decades of integrated experience across railway operations, operations and maintenance, asset management, commercial strategy, railway safety, reliability engineering, digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
Career Experience
Experience gained in leadership roles
My experience was gained in senior leadership and management roles with previous organisations, including RITES Limited, across industrial and captive railway systems.
That career covered railway operations and maintenance, heavy-haul movement, locomotive and wagon fleet management, asset management, safety governance and operations and maintenance contracts.
Assignments during those roles took me across India, Saudi Arabia and Mozambique. This is professional career experience gained in employment, not work undertaken by my current independent advisory practice.
My independent practice was established to make that judgement available directly to organisations that need it, without the layers of a consulting firm.
